These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of GetHome.NG websites, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the "Service") operated by GetHome.NG ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, creating an account, or clicking to accept these Terms, you agree to be bound by them.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering a binding contract to use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. You may delete your account at any time from the mobile app (Account → Delete account) or the web dashboard (Settings). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose a security risk.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purposes;
• Scrape, copy, or redistribute listing or market data except as expressly permitted;
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with a property, agent, or owner;
• Interfere with the security, integrity, or availability of the Service;
• Upload malware or attempt unauthorized access to our systems.

4. Listings and third-party content

Property listings, agent profiles, valuations, and other content may be provided by third parties. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or availability of any listing or third-party content. Your dealings with agents, landlords, owners, or other users are solely between you and those parties.

5. Professional users

Real estate professionals using GetHome.NG must comply with applicable licensing, advertising, and consumer-protection laws, including ESVARBON and relevant state regulations where applicable. Professional accounts may be subject to additional onboarding, verification, and compliance requirements.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, trademarks, and original content, is owned by GetHome.NG or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal or authorized business purposes in accordance with these Terms.

7. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE.

8. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GETHOME.NG AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory local consumer protections apply.
